Fatal accident during construction work on the OPAL
At about 11:30 on Wednesday (20.01.2010) an accident occurred near Cosweg in Saxony during construction work for the laying of the OPAL natural gas pipeline.
Kassel. At about 11:30 on Wednesday (20.01.2010) an accident occurred near Cosweg in Saxony during construction work for the laying of the OPAL natural gas pipeline. The cause of the accident is as yet unknown. A worker from the construction company died as a result of injuries incurred during loading operations. The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated by the relevant authorities.
